As reported by Bolesławiec City Hall, thanks to funding, a new 424-metre-long road with a 354-metre-long shared pedestrian and cycle path will be built in 2024.

City Hall officials:

The works will include construction of a road connected to the existing driveways, with an asphalt surface and a kerbside drainage channel. The project also includes a shared pedestrian and cycle path with an asphalt surface, separated from the green areas by edging, as well as a new power network for street lighting.

The street will be lit by 15 LED lamps equipped with a smart lighting management system – Smart Lights. Each fixture is planned to contain a wireless lighting control system enabling power reduction, parameter readings and more.

They add: – Rainwater from the road will be discharged into the stormwater sewer to be built, through road inlets and service connections. The project also includes adjusting existing sanitary sewer manholes, road inlets and water supply valves. It will also include the construction of a utility duct intended to accommodate telecommunications cables.

The estimated value of the project is PLN 2,982,500.
