The incident occurred around midnight on the night of September 30 to October 1, at a roundabout in Godzieszów. The driver of a Renault Clio, a 27-year-old woman from Bolesławiec, failed to adjust her speed to the road conditions and hit a retaining wall and a pole. The woman was drunk.
Two people were injured, including the passenger, who was seriously injured. Both the passenger and the driver were taken to hospital. The passenger was initially taken to a facility in Zgorzelec, and then the Polish Medical Air Rescue transported him to Wrocław.
The case will probably end up in court.
