Bolesławiec police on the incident:
Last Friday, a road incident occurred on the A4 motorway during a German police pursuit of a passenger car. Bolesławiec police officers established that the 30-year-old, while driving the vehicle, caused a collision as a result of improper manoeuvres.
The foreign national was detained and, under expedited proceedings, brought before the District Court in Bolesławiec, where he was sentenced as the person responsible for the collision.
And adds:
The police officers then handed the 30-year-old over to Border Guard officers because he is not allowed to stay in the territory of the member states of the European Union.
Let us recall. The incident occurred on Friday, 29 September, before 11:00 a.m., on the A4 motorway, approximately level with Osieczów.
A German police pursuit of a car was underway on the A4. On our section of the motorway, the pursuing vehicle collided with the vehicle being pursued. One person in the latter car was injured. The person suffered head and lower-limb injuries.
