On Thursday, September 28, a temporary camp established in Trzebień (Bolesławiec Municipality, Bolesławiec County) was officially opened.

During the opening ceremony, it was emphasized that the project was the culmination of cooperation among many parties. (The work lasted a year.)

This is not the end, either. Two more camps are being built near the one that has already been completed.

The Trzebień camp, which complies with American standards, covers 16.5 hectares and can accommodate 1,200 soldiers along with their equipment. The investment was carried out under the 2020 agreement on enhanced defense cooperation between Poland and the United States. The agreement concerns 114 projects at 11 locations across Poland, including Trzebień.

We will return to this topic.
