The tragedy occurred on Saturday, September 16, at one of the properties in Lubań. As reported by eluban.pl, at approximately 7:45 p.m., emergency services were dispatched to a man who had fallen into a garden pond.
– The team from Leśna (...) began advanced medical procedures upon arriving at the scene; unfortunately, after approximately 45 minutes of resuscitation, resuscitation efforts were stopped and the patient was pronounced dead – Piotr Bednarek, press spokesperson for the Emergency Medical Service in Jelenia Góra, told eluban.pl Piotr Bednarek. – Firefighters from PSP Lubań were the first to arrive at the scene. They performed CPR until our team arrived, for approximately 8 minutes, also using an automated AED defibrillator.
According to unofficial information obtained by the Lubań-based outlet, the deceased may have been under the influence of alcohol. The prosecutor’s office and police are determining the causes and circumstances of the tragedy.
