The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 5, before 2:00 p.m., at the intersection of Kubika and Bankowa streets in Bolesławiec. Two passenger cars, a Peugeot and a Volvo, collided there. Four people were traveling in the vehicles; two people were injured.
Police, firefighters and a medical rescue team are at the scene.
Police officers are establishing the causes and circumstances of the incident.
Update
Police findings indicate that the 50-year-old man driving a Peugeot failed to yield the right of way to the Volvo driver. As a result of the collision, the Volvo driver and passenger suffered hand and head injuries. Both received medical assistance. All those involved in the incident are residents of Bolesławiec County.
