On Saturday, 11 September, a festival was held on the school sports field in Trzebień. It was organised by the Stowarzyszenie Trzebień association, the Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Sportu w Bolesławcu z/s w Kruszynie and Paweł Zieliński, assistant to Lidia Geringer d'Oedenberg. The following vocalists performed on stage: Natalia Żebrowska, Agnieszka Miszkiewicz and Dawid Rajfur. Folk enthusiasts also had no reason to complain. That day, the Gminny Zespół Pieśni i Tańca „Jutrzenka” performed in Trzebień.
There were also competitions. Among other tasks, the little ones had to collect paper mushrooms and draw portraits while blindfolded. The competition involving sawing through a wooden block proved particularly popular with adults.
During the festival, an auction was also held for a four-day trip to the European Parliament in Brussels, donated by MEP Lidia Geringer d'Oedenberg. The auction was conducted by Paweł Zieliński. The proceeds (PLN 1,200) will be used to fund an integration trip for children from Trzebień and the surrounding area.
The event ended with a dance party. The Mat band provided the music. Residents of our county danced until dawn.
