Events were held in the municipalities’ towns and villages, where colorful stalls were set up, offering regional products, handicrafts and traditional dishes. All this was accompanied by performances by local folk groups, which demonstrated their skills in folk dances and songs.
However, one of the most important moments of the harvest festival was the competition for the “Most Beautiful Traditional Harvest Wreath of Bolesławiec County.” Our county is known for its beautiful and creative wreaths, made with great precision and artistic flair.
Many wonderful compositions were entered in the competition, created by groups from various localities in the county. The wreaths were decorated with flowers, grain, fruit and colorful ribbons, forming extraordinary patterns and motifs. Preparing such a wreath required many hours of work and dedication, which is why every composition presented was judged and appreciated exceptionally.
