The incident, which took place on the night from Saturday to Sunday, was described by paramedics from Bolesławiec:
(…) an unpleasant incident occurred involving an intoxicated patient who, after receiving medical assistance and then while being transported to hospital, first verbally abused and insulted the paramedics, and then attacked the paramedics sitting in the cab while the ambulance was moving, creating a direct hazard in road traffic.
The medics added: – He hit the paramedics. They subdued the aggressor and then, accompanied by police officers, transported him to the hospital emergency department.
The paramedics remind readers that violating the bodily integrity of a public official may be punishable by up to three years in prison.
