As reported by the Jelenia Góra police:
On August 24 this year, in connection with bomb-disposal patrol operations to remove unexploded ordnance found in the so-called Soviet Pits in Piechowice, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. there will be traffic disruptions on National Road 3, from the parking lot by Hotel Las to Szklarska Poręba. The roads and trails leading to Szklarka Waterfall, as well as the trails running along the river by National Road 3, will also be closed, from the Szklarska Poręba and Piechowice sides to the parking lot by the waterfall. In connection with this work, people present in the danger zone will be evacuated.
The police also add:
Traffic disruptions may last approximately four hours. Traffic will be allowed through in cycles every 20 minutes. The parking lot by Hotel Las and the one at the entrance to the trail leading to Szklarka Waterfall will also be closed. Due to unforeseen events, the situation on the road may change.
