On Monday, August 14, a severe storm swept through Bolesławiec County. (We wrote about it in the article: Storm over the county: Fallen trees, flooded streets, downed power line).

Firefighters from Gromadka about yesterday’s incident:

(…) our unit had a very busy day during the storm.

They added: – We carried out the operations together with OSP Wierzbowa.

Uniformed personnel from Nowa Kuźnia:

(…) after the storm passed through Nowa Kuźnia, we secured damaged low- and medium-voltage lines. (...) We removed broken branches from the county road and from the municipal road leading to Modła railway station. Several units were operating in Nasza Wieś on other calls, including removing a wasp nest from a playground and dealing with a burning tree limb in the housing estate.

Meanwhile, firefighters from Ocice intervened in Kraszowice, where a broken tree limb was blocking the road, and on the road between Kraszowice and Otok, where a medium-voltage line had been downed.
