On August 11, during a ceremonial assembly on the parade ground of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment, commander Col. Krzysztof Malankiewicz presented appointments to the next military ranks.
The honorees were presented with letters of commendation and awarded the special badges “For the Protection of the Border of the Republic of Poland,” Class.
At the end of the assembly, a letter from Minister of National Defence Mariusz Błaszczak, addressed to the soldiers on their holiday, was read out.
