Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn received a report about two men present on the premises of the closed Konrad Mine.

The police immediately went to the scene, where, after searching the area, they found and detained two residents of Bolesławiec County who were attempting to steal window frames from the building of a former boiler house. The losses were estimated at approximately one thousand zlotys.
Both would-be thieves now face up to five years in prison. One of the suspects was charged with an additional offense. He had arrived at the scene of the crime by car, despite having had his driving privileges revoked.
