The case came to light on Tuesday, August 8, in the Lwówek Śląski municipality. The lwowecki.info website:
The editorial office (...) received a photo of the dog hanging from a tree from readers. Shortly before that, the matter had been reported to the duty officer of the District Police Headquarters. A patrol was immediately sent to the scene.
According to information obtained by the editorial office of the Lwówek medium from the people who reported the matter, the dog may have been hanging in that place for several to more than ten days.
The case is being investigated by the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski. Activities aimed at establishing the identity and arresting the perpetrator of this monstrous act are under way.
This crime is punishable by up to five years in prison.
