– The duty officer at the Jelenia Góra Municipal Police Headquarters was notified about the discovery of mortar shells and fuses from the Second World War, which were located in a forest complex in Piechowice – reports Sub-Inspector Edyta Bagrowska, press officer of the Jelenia Góra Municipal Police Headquarters.

Until the arrival of the Bolesławiec Bomb Disposal Patrol from the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment, the site was secured by police officers, including a mines and bomb-disposal reconnaissance team.
