The incident occurred on the night of September 6–7 in Osiecznica municipality. During a patrol, police officers from the station in Nowogrodziec noticed a man lying on the roadside. The 26-year-old was conscious. He complained of chest pain. He told the officers that he had a heart condition and had been drinking alcohol.
The officers called an ambulance. At one point, the man lost consciousness. One of the police officers immediately began resuscitating the ill 26-year-old.
Thanks to the police officers’ swift intervention, a tragedy was avoided. The resident of Osiecznica municipality regained consciousness. He was taken to a hospital in Bolesławiec.
