– A man reported to the duty officer at the District Police Headquarters in Złotoryja that he had been robbed – reports junior aspirant Dominika Kwakszys, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Złotoryja.
How did the theft happen? The spokeswoman explains:
The man arranged a social meeting with a 43-year-old woman from Złotoryja County whom he knew. For this purpose, he invited her to a rented room, but he did not expect the meeting to end this way. When he briefly went to the bathroom, the woman took a substantial sum of money from his pouch and left the room.
She adds: – After leaving the bathroom, he realized that the woman had stolen approximately PLN 12,000 from him and fled.
Police officers arrested the suspect in the town; she had most of the stolen money with her. She had managed to spend some of it in nearby shops.
The resourceful 43-year-old was taken into police custody and charged. She now faces up to five years in prison.
