Bolesławiec criminal investigators, working with an electricity supplier, checked apartments that did not have a signed agreement for electricity consumption.
KPP:
Together with employees of the energy company, police officers located makeshift connections and illegal electricity consumption in two cases.
The officers add: – The apartments where electricity theft was discovered were occupied by women, who will be held responsible for the theft. This type of offence carries a penalty of up to 5 years in prison.
And they warn:
Cases of people creating illegal electrical installations on their own continue to occur. Such actions can be very dangerous due to the risk of fire and electric shock.
