Jelenia Góra criminal investigators arrested a 29-year-old man suspected of causing serious bodily harm and violating bodily integrity. – As officers determined, the incident occurred on June 18 this year in Jelenia Góra. The 29-year-old, seeing his girlfriend leave one of the buildings, hit her in the face and wounded an acquaintance walking behind her in the arm with a knife – reports Sub-Inspector Edyta Bagrowska, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra. – The injured man was taken to hospital. It turned out that he had suffered serious bodily injuries.
And she adds:
While carrying out activities in this case, police officers arrested the man suspected of committing these acts on the basis of the information they obtained.
The arrested 29-year-old explained that he had been jealous of his girlfriend. Moreover, the injured man owed him money.
The jealous man, whom the prosecutor placed under police supervision, now faces a prison sentence of three to as many as fifteen years.
