A horrific incident occurred on Saturday (28 August) in the afternoon in Trzebień. A 47-year-old resident of one of the houses on Bolesławiecka Street was brutally mutilated. The woman has cuts to her face, perineum and thigh. A family member found the seriously injured woman. The 47-year-old was under the influence of alcohol.
On Saturday, at around 7:00 p.m., the injured woman was taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec. It turned out that she also had an eye injury. After being treated, she was transported to a clinic on Borowska Street in Wrocław. Unfortunately, she was sent back to Bolesławiec from Wrocław after an ophthalmological consultation, although, in the opinion of doctors from Bolesławiec, she should have remained there.
The wounds the woman suffered are so extensive that the intervention of maxillofacial surgeons will be necessary. It is not yet known under what circumstances the woman was mutilated. Several hours earlier, neighbors had seen her on the porch of the house. According to their accounts, the woman lived alone. Her son sometimes visited her. The district prosecutor’s office and the police are investigating the case.

Thanks to the efforts of doctors from Bolesławiec, the mutilated 47-year-old woman was transported to a specialist hospital in Polanica Zdrój. Today at 8:00 p.m. on TVN24, the program "Prosto z Polski" will broadcast a report devoted to this shocking incident.

Despite earlier announcements, TVN24 did not broadcast a program about the mutilation of a Trzebień resident today. The evening program was dominated by the subject of the "Solidarity" Congress and the emotions it sparked.
