Bolesławiec criminal investigators established the identity of the person suspected of firing an air rifle. The incident took place in the evening of June 18 in Bolesławiec.
Officers: – The victim saw a person who fired a shot from a nearby apartment block toward his car, breaking the rear window. The damage was assessed at 700 zlotys.
Based on the information gathered, police established that the suspect is not a resident of the building in question, but is from Bolesławiec County.

While searching the 27-year-old’s place of residence, police secured the air rifle from which the shot was fired, as well as two other pneumatic weapons, so an expert could assess whether possessing them requires a firearms permit under the applicable regulations.
The perpetrator has already been charged with destroying a car window by firing a pneumatic weapon. The man gave a statement in the case. He faces up to five years in prison.
