City Hall: – In connection with the implementation of the “Centers of Traditional Crafts along the Via Fabrilis Trail” project, co-financed under the INTERREG V-A Czech Republic–Poland programme, the building of the Department of the History of the City at Kutuzowa Street will change its function and become an interdisciplinary center for traditional pottery techniques.

The oldest surviving Bolesławiec ceramic kiln will find a safe home on the property. Work on assembling the brick kiln, which was moved together with its chimney and flue from Widok Street, is already nearing completion. Adaptation work is being carried out inside the building to enable workshops to be held. In specially designed interiors, visitors will be able to learn about ceramic craftsmanship in an original and multimedia-based way.

The contractor is Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane SAWREM from Wrocław. The costs amount to PLN 5,987,000. City Hall: – The task is co-financed under the INTERREG V-A Czech Republic–Poland programme, “Centers of Traditional Crafts along the Via Fabrilis Trail,” at 85%, in an amount not exceeding EUR 940,000. The investor is the Municipality of Bolesławiec.

The project includes the creation of three new centers promoting traditional crafts along the existing “Via Fabrilis” tourist trail connecting Polish and Czech centers. Workshops and exhibitions will be organized in the newly established centers, contributing to the integration of target groups on both sides of the border. Project partners: the Municipality of Bolesławiec in cooperation with the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec; the Municipality of Kłodzko in cooperation with the Museum of the Kłodzko Region in Kłodzko; and the City of Jaroměř in cooperation with Městské muzeum v Jaroměři.

The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Interreg V-A Czech Republic–Poland programme.
