Members of the Bolesławiec Women’s Association “In Gremio” – Małgorzata Orzoł, Czesława Grochalska-Zielonka and Edyta Panitz-Lenda – acting as a Social Committee, in cooperation with the Najdroższa Blizna Foundation represented by Agata Bojanowska, conducted a public collection for children hospitalized at the Cardiology Clinic of the Institute of the Mother and Child Health Center in Łódź.

Thanks to the great goodwill and kindness of the owners and employees, donations were also accepted at the following institutions: Technika Biurowa BIS (1 Kubika St.) and Auto Centrum Zmaczyńscy (13 Grunwaldzka St.), Fast-Service Stationery Shop (Bielska St.), “Tukawka” Café, “Świat Książki” Bookstore, “Misie Tulisie” Nursery in Nowogrodziec, “Skrzaty” Non-Public Kindergarten in Czerna, Primary School in Gościszów, H. Sienkiewicz Primary School in Raciborowice Dolne and “Budus” Building Materials Wholesaler in Osiecznica.

The donated items included, among other things: pulse oximeters, toys, puzzles, activity sets, coloring books, storybooks for the youngest children, books, wet wipes, children’s cosmetics, creams, shampoos, bath products, ready-made meals in jars, disposable lancets, preparations for painless plaster removal, breathing exercise devices, sensory balls and other small items useful to hospitalized people.

The residents of Lower Silesia showed empathy, sensitivity, solidarity and great hearts. Many anonymous donors took part in the collection.
