A delegation of soldiers serving in the Voluntary Compulsory Military Service ceremonially received weapons on May 9 from the deputy commander of the Brigade, Colonel Dariusz Bielecki.

Let us recall. On Monday, May 8, more than 90 people passed through the gate of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów as part of their admission to the Voluntary Compulsory Military Service (DZSW).

The unit:

The beginning of May also marked the beginning of the second DZSW training session of 2023. From the morning hours, the volunteers arrived at the unit’s gate to undergo training with us, during which they will see what the military is like. First, they filled out documents, underwent medical examinations, spoke with a psychologist, completed the formalities and moved to the subunit where they will spend the next month. There, they were assigned to platoons and squads and received uniforms and essential equipment. Now it was time to unpack and say goodbye to their civilian belongings for the next 26 days. From now on, their everyday clothing will be a military uniform.

The uniformed personnel add:

DZSW is not only military training. It is also an excellent test for the volunteers themselves. Their physical fitness, mental resilience and ability to cope with stress will be tested. Time passes faster in the military, and only 26 days remain until the oath-taking ceremony. Intensive exercises lie ahead, during which they will learn, among other things, shooting, weapon handling and drill.
