As reported by the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate:
A forged letter was delivered today to some schools in Poland. In it, the sender impersonates the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate and informs recipients of an obligation to undergo screening tests for tuberculosis.
The Inspectorate emphasizes:
The letter does not come from the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, was not signed by the Chief Sanitary Inspector wz. (forged signature), and is an attempt to spread disinformation and sow panic. None of the actions described in it are being carried out. The information contained in the messages is false and should not be followed.
The messages are sent from the incorrect address “inspektorat@sanepidgov.pl” (the dot between sanepid and gov is missing).
It also adds:
We appeal for prudence and particularly careful verification of the information received, especially the sender’s email addresses. The relevant authorities and services have been informed of the matter.
