As we read in Wikipedia:

Flag Day of the Republic of Poland is a Polish holiday introduced by an act of 20 February 2004. It is celebrated between the holidays of 1 May (known as Labor Day) and 3 May (the National Day of the Third of May). May 2 is not a day off work, but many Poles take leave on that day because it is the only date on the calendar occurring between two days off work.

The Day of the Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad is also observed on the same day.
