The accused 28-year-old man, who confessed to committing the crimes he was charged with and gave explanations, had previously been convicted of a similar offence. The 22-year-old woman did not confess to the alleged acts and had no previous criminal record.
The prosecutor accused the defendants of exploiting minors to produce pornographic material by photographing their children and then sharing the photographs on the Internet. The investigation found that the defendants had been exploiting the children for at least a year. In addition, the prosecutor accused the defendants of jointly raping a minor, and the man of raping three minors, including his own children.
The acts alleged against the defendants carry a combined sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
