Officers from the Independent Police Prevention Unit in Legnica, while on duty yesterday in Bolesławiec County, arrested two men. Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters:

The 28-year-old was driving a passenger car while under the influence of narcotic substances. A test confirmed that the driver was under their influence.

The other detainee, a 30-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, had two types of prohibited substances on him. Officers seized several doses of methamphetamine and marijuana.

Driving under the influence of a narcotic carries a penalty of up to two years in prison, loss of driving privileges and financial consequences. Possession of narcotic substances carries a penalty of up to three years in prison.
