A tragic incident occurred during the night of August 8–9 in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki. An unidentified man, approximately 20–25 years old, was hit by a freight train. He died as a result of his injuries. The Bolesławiec District Prosecutor’s Office is handling the case. In a conversation with the IstotneInformacje.pl portal, Adam Zieliński, the district prosecutor, stressed that investigators have not ruled out the possibility that this may have been a suicide attempt.
