State Fire Service:
It is with great sadness that we report that in an accident which occurred on Tuesday, 18 April 2023, at the Coking Plant in Wałbrzych, one man was injured and two died. All three were State Fire Service firefighters serving on a daily basis at Fire and Rescue Unit No. 1 of the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Wałbrzych. The unfortunate incident occurred during their time off duty.
Chief Commander of the State Fire Service, Brigadier General Andrzej Bartkowiak, on behalf of the entire firefighting community, extends his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and the injured person.
