Bolesławiec police received a report about an intoxicated driver who had allegedly arrived at a store in one of the rural communities. KPP: – The traffic patrol that arrived at the scene found the drunk driver outside the car. The man denied that he had been driving the vehicle. However, a review of the store’s surveillance footage and information provided by witnesses left no doubt.
The 35-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County was detained. A test showed that he had got behind the wheel with nearly four per mille of alcohol in his system.
The officers add: – Thanks to the residents’ response, the driver has already lost his driving licence.
And they remind people: – Driving while intoxicated carries a penalty of up to two years in prison, a long-term loss of driving privileges and financial consequences.
