The matter was reported by volunteer firefighters from Trzebień:
We are extremely pleased to announce that on 1 April, during the Competition for Traditional Dishes and Easter Palms in Bożejowice, our fellow firefighter Karolina Nenkin and the chief firefighter Jarosław Nenkin successfully performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a woman who had suffered sudden cardiac arrest.
The firefighters add:
The resuscitation was then taken over by the emergency medical team, and the woman was stabilized and transported to hospital.
And they conclude:
The effectiveness of this operation was undoubtedly influenced by the fact that Karolina works as a nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bolesławiec, while Jarosław is a firefighter with the Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service, as well as an active rescue firefighter in our unit.
