The incident occurred during the night of March 16–17. Volunteer firefighters from Brzeźnik:
(…) at 2:15 a.m., we were dispatched to a boiler-room fire in a single-family house in our town.
The firefighters add:
The operations involved locating the fire, applying one water stream, removing all combustible materials from the boiler room, and ventilating the building.
The residents evacuated the house before the services arrived. No one was injured.
Firefighters from Bolesławiec (three units) and Brzeźnik, as well as a police patrol, took part in the operation.
