The victim dropped her phone in front of a house. When a resident of Bolesławiec realized after a while that she had lost her mobile phone, she returned for her property. Except the device was already gone. A man was milling around there, claiming that he was looking for an address. When asked whether he had seen the lost phone, he firmly denied it.
Bolesławiec police:
Seeing the victim’s reaction, the man got rid of the phone, leaving it in a dumpster.
He then returned for it. But the elaborate plan fell through because… the entrance to the container was already locked.
The perpetrator was arrested and the phone was recovered. The 23-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec municipality now faces a fine, restriction of liberty or up to one year in prison.
