The incident occurred on Sunday, March 5. Volunteer firefighters from Nowogrodziec:
(...) at around 7:15 p.m., we responded to a sudden cardiac arrest in Nowogrodziec, on Chopin Street.
They added:
Upon arriving at the scene, resuscitation was immediately begun using an AED defibrillator. After approximately an hour of attempts to save the person’s life, the emergency medical team that arrived at the scene pronounced the person dead.
