During a patrol of the rural area, officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn noticed a vehicle near a closed facility. When they drove over to check, it turned out that two men were next to the car and were just… stealing metal elements.
The 33-year-old and his 35-year-old accomplice were detained. Police: – The suspects had already loaded 22 rails, each 1.5 metres long, into the car.
The officers add: – Behind the fence, the thieves had prepared the second part of their haul, intended to be carried away.
The pair will now face charges of attempted theft of property worth more than PLN 2,000. The county residents face up to five years in prison.
