We wrote about the matter in the article A resident denied the coal allowance because of uninformed officials. As a result of GOPS officials in Warta Bolesławiecka incorrectly interpreting the law, a resident of the municipality was deprived of the coal allowance to which he was entitled. We wanted to know how many other people in the municipality were in a similar situation. According to the response from the head of the GOPS in Warta Bolesławiecka, there were few such applications.
The Municipal Social Welfare Centre informs that, following the re-verification of five applications for the coal allowance and the determination that they had to be paid following the amendment to the provision, we applied to the Voivodeship Office for funds on 3 February 2023. On 16 February 2023, the requested funds were credited to the Centre's bank account. On 24 February 2023, they were transferred to the applicants' bank accounts.
