The incident occurred on Sunday morning in Szklarska Poręba. As reported by 24jgora.pl:
A group of Czech kayakers organised an (...) amateur kayaking trip down the Kamienna River. At one point, it was noticed that the group was missing a 37-year-old man who had not reached the place where the trip was scheduled to end.
The Czech man’s body was found near the Museum of Energy. Attempts at resuscitation were unsuccessful. The police and prosecutor’s office are investigating the causes and circumstances of the tragedy.
