Police officers from Nowogrodziec identified the vehicle and then the driver responsible for damaging the surface of a football pitch.
KPP Bolesławiec:
The crime took place in November last year in one of the rural localities in Nowogrodziec municipality. Under cover of darkness, the 20-year-old drove onto the pitch for fun in order to drift.
This escapade caused more than PLN 2,500 in damage.
The young resident of Bolesławiec County has already been charged and admitted guilt. He now faces a sentence of between three months and as many as five years in prison.
