Students in grades IV–VI performed poems or prose of their choice, while their older colleagues in grades VII–VIII had to compete in both categories. The works presented were selected from outside the prescribed reading lists and school textbooks.
The judging criteria were:
- interpretation of the works,
- choice of repertoire (the artistic value of the works and their suitability to the participant’s performance abilities),
- command of language,
- overall artistic expression.
The Competition Committee, consisting of Maria Sobolska, Aneta Ćwieluch and Filip Witkowski, decided after hearing the contestants to award prizes only in the “younger” category.
The main prizes were won by:
- Martyna Bochnia from ZSP in Ocice,
- Karol Nowiński from ZSP in Brzeźnik,
- Zuzanna Orawiec from ZSP in Kruszyn,
- Martyna Zamojska from ZSP in Ocice,
- Alan Gajaszek from ZSP in Kruszyn.
These individuals will represent the Bolesławiec municipality at the district-level stage of the competition.
