On January 31, training on Force Protection procedures was conducted at the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec, with the participation of US Army soldiers stationed at the unit.
Bolesławiec artillery personnel:
The training included a practical inspection of a vehicle attempting to enter the unit grounds, personal inspection and vehicle search procedures, as well as the detention of an outsider possessing a dangerous object.
They also added:
The joint training of Polish and American soldiers enabled an exchange of experience and procedures for responding to a breach of the unit’s security and defense system. The jointly developed conclusions will be used during subsequent joint training sessions aimed at improving the procedures currently in force.
