On January 29, three men were arrested on the roads of Bolesławiec County. The District Police Headquarters said: – Each of them committed a crime. All of them are residents of Bolesławiec County.
A 32-year-old was driving with nearly 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. During the proceedings, traffic police established that the man was subject to a driving ban issued by the District Court in Bolesławiec. In addition, decisions revoking his driving privileges were in force.
The second driver was arrested in Bolesławiec by officers of the Traffic Department. A test showed that the 41-year-old had more than 1 per mille of alcohol in his system.
Meanwhile, a 32-year-old who had disregarded a court-imposed driving ban in force since 2021 was arrested by officers from Legnica serving in Bolesławiec.

Driving while intoxicated and driving despite a decision revoking one’s driving privileges are punishable by up to 2 years in prison. Breaking a court-imposed ban carries a sentence of up to 5 years in prison.
