Unfortunately, one person, a resident of the house, died as a result of the fire. Operations have already been ongoing for five hours.
Taking part in the operation: firefighters from Nowogrodziec (2 units), Czerna, Wykroty, Gierałtów, Bolesławiec (4 units), Lubań (3 units), as well as police officers and a medical rescue team.
Nowogrodziec officers: – This was the first call-out for our newly acquired heavy GCBA JELCZ rescue and firefighting vehicle, which we refurbished thanks to the unit’s own funds and the work and commitment of the OSP Nowogrodziec firefighters.
