This is the conclusion of the high-profile case concerning the abuse of an employee and inciting her to forge a signature by the former cemetery manager. The District Court in Jelenia Góra upheld the Bolesławiec court’s verdict. Let us recall. The district court sentenced Dariusz F. to:

  • 7 months’ imprisonment, conditionally suspended for two years,
  • PLN 8,000 for the injured party,
  • a restraining order prohibiting him from approaching the injured party,
  • a ban on holding managerial positions for three years,
  • a written apology to the injured party.

The judgment is final.

What happens now?

As istotne.pl was informed by Agata Rycyk, director of the National Electoral Office’s Jelenia Góra branch, under the regulations the court should send a copy of the final judgment to the National Electoral Office, the voivode and the chairperson of the Municipal Council. On the basis of this document, within 14 days of its delivery, the election commissioner will announce the expiry of the councillor’s mandate by means of a public notice.
