The incident occurred on Friday in the early evening in Lubań. Readers informed the eluban.pl service about a collision at the pedestrian crossing near the intersection of Rybacka and Młynarska Streets.
A 30-year-old woman was lying on the crossing. A married couple who noticed the person lying there called paramedics.
As it turned out, no collision had occurred. The cause was entirely different. The woman was... completely drunk. Eluban.pl:
(…) the device reportedly showed 4 per mille. So it was not a car but the alcohol circulating in her veins that knocked her off her feet, just as she was crossing the busy DK30.
It is a miracle that no tragedy occurred. After the medical rescue team examined the 30-year-old, police officers took her to a place where she could sober up safely.
