The driver was stopped last Saturday, after 6:00 p.m., in Rakowice Wielkie. Police officers from Lwówek Śląski, patrolling the area, noticed a Fiat passenger car traveling along the road without its dipped headlights switched on.

During the inspection, it turned out that the driver of the vehicle, a 30-year-old resident of Lwówek County, was under the influence of methamphetamine.

A reminder: People who drive while intoxicated or under the influence of narcotic substances, in addition to legal consequences, must also expect significant financial penalties. Regardless of the sentence imposed, the court is required to order a monetary payment of no less than PLN 5,000 for a person committing this offense for the first time, and no less than PLN 10,000 when a person has once again driven while intoxicated or under the influence of narcotic substances.
