The fundraiser is a way of making visible the support that Agnieszka Tucholska needs during this difficult time. It is not about large sums, but about showing solidarity and empathy, even through the smallest donation. On the fundraiser page Help in regaining Ms Agnieszka’s freedom, we read:

Agnieszka led a quiet life with her husband and three children until her daughter Julka accused her of the atrocities contained in the indictment: beatings, psychological abuse and rape. On 8 February 2022, her life became a nightmare; she was taken into custody and then to prison, where she was beaten, dehumanized and raped. There she experienced hell, which caused her to stop feeling like a woman and a human being, and where, in pain and suffering, she prayed for her end. After leaving custody, she tried to take her own life. Today, although she is free, she does not feel free (...).

The money from the fundraiser will not be used to pay the lawyers from Kancelaria Radcy Prawnego dr Wojciecha Kasprzyka.

The entire case is being covered by nationwide media, including TVN Uwaga. Four articles about Ms Agnieszka’s case have appeared on our website:
