On the morning of 1 December, in Szczytnica, in Bolesławiec County, near the exit to the A4 motorway, an unconscious man was found on the roadway. Unfortunately, the 71-year-old man could not be saved. Preliminary findings indicated that the person may have been hit by a truck.
Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters: – Through the media, Bolesławiec police officers appealed to people who had witnessed the incident to contact them in order to establish the circumstances of the accident.

Thanks to the response of road users, the truck involved in this tragic incident was identified. Intensive police work also led to the identification of the driver.
The officers are currently carrying out activities under the supervision of the Bolesławiec District Prosecutor’s Office to establish the causes of the accident.
