On Thursday, June 24, traffic police officers conducted the “Truck” operation. The officers inspected 55 vehicles. They seized 37 registration certificates (due to the poor technical condition of the vehicles) and issued 26 fines.
The officers checked, among other things, the technical condition of the vehicles, the drivers’ sobriety and whether they complied with working-time regulations.
In recent years, the number of accidents involving buses and trucks has increased sharply. The preventive “Truck” operation aims to improve the safety of road users.
