According to preliminary police information, the driver of a truck, while attempting to drive uphill, began to “skid” and moved into the opposite lane, colliding with an oncoming car and pinning the passenger car against the crash barriers.
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. The officers are appealing for caution and prudence on the road. The roads in our region are very slippery.
